DURING THE TOUR:
At the beginning of the excursion, you will undergo mandatory training and a detailed briefing. The paragliding flight itself will take place individually, in tandem with a professional instructor. Paragliding is highly sensitive to weather conditions, especially the direction and speed of air currents. So don’t be surprised if you have to wait a little until the green flag for the jump appears, indicating favourable flying conditions.
EXCURSION WITHOUT PARAGLIDING FLIGHT:
If not all members of your family wish to take a paragliding flight, by choosing the “Accompanying person without flight” option, they can join the tour at a special price.
GÖKOVA BAY
During the tour, you will see the stunningly beautiful Gökova Bay from a bird’s eye view. Its secluded coves are famous worldwide – this is where the iconic Turquoise sailing route from Bodrum to Fethiye runs. Moreover, geographically, Gökova Bay is where the Aegean and Mediterranean Seas meet, and has been a hub for active sailing since ancient times.
OREN – THE AEGEAN PEARL
The town of Oren is called a secret Aegean pearl for its unique coastal landscapes, an 8‑kilometre sandy beach and a peaceful pace of life. There are few tourists here, so you will have a chance to see life in the Turkish countryside with your own eyes.
ALATEPE AND MOUNT KOCADAĞ
The paragliding jump is made from Alatepe Hill on Mount Kocadağ. The stunning views of Gökova Bay and the untouched local nature make the mountain area extremely popular not only for paragliding but also for hiking.
- Transfer from Bodrum to Oren takes 1‑1.5 hours. Distance approx. 68 km.
- You will fly in tandem with a professional English‑speaking pilot!
- The height of Mount Kocadağ from which jumps are made is 640 metres.
- The Alatepe paragliding launch site faces south, so flights are made to the south, southwest and southeast.
- Flight duration depends on the wind and your weight – approximately 15‑20 minutes.
